I feel pretty good about our team as a whole. CPJ hasn't been everyone's favorite recruiter but I am starting to see the end result. I can't really explain the X's and O's of the offense but I really like the speed we have on the team now. We have several state Mr. Football players and speed we haven't seen in a long time. The replay of Prattville and Carver was on today and said J Thomas was a consistant 4.3 guy and clocked at 4.2 a few times. The game showed it! This guy on the edge would be stupid! I believe our offense finally has the players we need. As far as the D, I think we have as good as any linebacking, secondary crew as any. Our D line may be a weak point but CAG I trust will adjust. We'll see. I'm rambling, sorry. I just feel good about the guys we have on the team and I know CPJ can't wait to let them loose. GO JACKETS!!!!!!!!
I wonder how he got into tech then.

If somebody else would like to start one this year, feel free. My job doesn't allow me the time to follow recruiting like I used to anymore. I wasn't able to keep the OP as up to date as I would have liked this past year.
No Worries. Thanks Berry!

That may be the trend for us recently, but only 1 BCS conference team signed less than 15 recruits in 2012. Signing under 15 is really rare...
Im confused, I could of sworn we are way under the 85 sholly limit as of now? Can someone shed some light on this?

We're at 83 with 12 seniors. That's how CPJ is coming up with the 14-15 number. We should tack on 3 or 4 to that to account for attrition, but we probably won't.

Thanks, for some reason from all of the complaining after this past recruiting class that we were way under. So who is a junior next year that we could see go to the NFL? I cant think of anyone....unless its one from our secondary.

I am sort of shocked that we have 83 on scholly and the only two I can think of is Vad Lee and Justin Thomas

Of course we're going to say 14-15 now. It's the same thing we say every year. We will say however many scholly's we have.

But, we will also account for attrition as that attrition becomes apparent and we will almost certainly sign around 18 next year, when it's all said and done. This is normal.

Someone should really start at 2013 thread as a "sticky". I don't mind doing it, but if there's someone else who normally does this, that would be even better.

Thanks Jacket59. I don't post much, but I do find these recruiting tidbits helpful. Glad you're going to carry the torch.

OK. I'll post it sometime this weekend. I guess an administrator will have to make it a sticky.

You're the man and Beestorm will do it, just shoot him a PM before it disappears from the first page.
