One thing that has not changed since VT: Tevin cannot make plays.

So, I'm the only one that caught Vad in an ACC championship game, calling a play, having the other 10 guys run it, and then try to XBox his way into endzone by himself against an FSU defense?

I'm the only one, eh? Mom was right. I am special.

So that justifies not playing him the rest of the game, even with Tevin sucking? We're talking about winning a game here. Tevin had his fair share of bad plays, and very few stellar ones. His arm didn't give us a chance to win.

Tevin did some really good things out there.

Frustratingly, 100% of them were sandwiched in between perplexing mind-----s masquerading as 'football plays'.

I'll never understand what I just saw out there, both with regard and without regard to Tevin. Hold them scoreless with our nonexistent defense, then run passing plays all over the field with every QB on the roster but Vad Lee. Win TOP, lose the ground battle.

Who the ---- is this team?

Yes you're special alright. You're riding the short bus.

You do realize the irony in your statement, right? Tevin gets two series as quarterback. We score 0 points. Vad gets two series next. On one of those we actually score. Yet Vad doesn't play anymore. Tevin has four other series in the game where we don't score yet he stays in the game. Or did you not see that?

And worst of all, when we have to run a two-minute offense and obvious passing situations, we leave in someone who is literally probably the weakest armed quarterback in all of Division I football.

My elation in knowing Tevin will never call another play at Grant Field is surpassed only by the acknowledgement that I've as yet to wake in the middle of the night screaming over him and his BFF CPJ. Very close but not yet. I'm sure he will be a successful leader in the corporate world and makes lots of money and beautiful kids. And not a moment too soon.

----ing brilliant.

Here kid, I know you think you're next coming of Cam Newton and like we talked after your last series, you're not, but anyway, we need you to run our two-minute offense to win the game even though you've been sitting for the last hour and a half.

I definitely saw that, but I thought it was against Miami?

Tevin is a known quantity. No one was surprised by that interception or the overthrow of a wide open touchdown. Could it have happened any other way?

Vad may have lost, may have been worse, or may have gotten in a rhythm and won. I just know I would rather go down swinging with Vad than blowing yet another game with Tevin's passing.

OMG, bench him for all the remaining games.

Noticed and unfortunately that's why he sat the rest of the game. To be fair to Vad, he came in and made a huge play with his arm, then a good gain with his feet where he jumps up pumped. Next play he pitches and the blocking on the edge is abysmal where big play potential gets crushed. I think Vad decided he'd have to do it himself and the next two plays he keeps for no gain. CPJ was in his face about it as he walks off.

Hopefully Vad learned that if he wants to help GT win then he has to be on the field and that doesn't mean doing it all himself. CPJ needs to get over things, especially with a RS freshman and put in the player that gives us the best shot at winning. CPJ punished Vad, the team, and the fans.

I agree. Tevin couldn't inspire a fart and PJ's loyalty to playing someone who knows more about that offense over another who is more athletic and actually inspires his teammates is a FAULT!

Sometimes you put kids on the field to make a play instead of run a play. PJ doesn't get that because his offense is so systematic. Got to get away from that some.

I agree. I also see the issue of Vad being limited in the plays he could effectively execute last night though. It's a double edged sword, because as you limit our playbook, we get significantly easier to defend. The choice becomes whether or not you think Vad's athleticism is enough to make up for it.

Unfortunately, Tevin's legacy isn't going to be the most rushing TD's by a QB in the ACC. His legacy is the game ending interception. He just isn't on enough to overcome the awful D that we played this year. He just wasn't starting QB material.

Agree, got on a roll. Took my post away. Good luck to Tevin in his future and thanks for being a positive representative of GT

Saying someone can't make plays when it matters most is bashing them?

I don't think anyone called him a douche or anything. I think Tevin is an upstanding young man, that can't make the plays when it matters the most.

This is a message board. Get over it.
