Vandy has the #17 class this year according to both Rivals and Scout. James Franklin can sell and if he is coming after one of our recruits we should take notice.

If a Vandy coach wins, he will not be there long. If he loses, same thing. Recruits will not see him after a couple of years IMHO.

Good point. Hard to imagine Franklin is the type of guy who would stay put if a better SEC job opened up. Anyone think he has love for Vanderbilt? I'm sure he'd tell you he does.

Franklin's not stupid. Any coach who manages to win at Vandy (and there have been few) will use that success for a big payday somewhere else. While Franklin has made a lot of improvements to the program, Vandy will never have an SEC stadium and fan base. People with big egos like him need bigger and better things.

Apparently dude had some super secret (not really) visit to TN this weekend. Since it's 2013 folks found out about it, he denied it, his father confirmed it.
Urban supposedly has an offer-pulling policy like CPJ so this could get interesting.

With the mess that is Tennesse, why would any top recruit go there. Odds are he will not graduate with the coach that signs him.
