Been having a great weekend hosting my boy @AIR_CORN23 ! The next big name in both Bball and Fball.

How does the scholarship work with two-sport athletes? Would it count against football I assume?

seems like that would be up to him, his progress and the coach. im glad the recruiting sites cant determine that

Is this guy related to Corn Younger?

Remind me to never name my kids Cornelius.

its Cornelius, cant you even read the thread? Corn is his nickname, shortened from Cornelius. dumbasses everywhere

He's being recruited to play football so it would count for football. The reason it's so important that he's a PG is the basketball team needs both a PG and a decent big man and only has one scholarship. This fills one of them for free, he'd basically have walk-on status.

The argument becomes more interesting if the NCAA decided to pay players.

Yes I read it. Only one reference to his name being Cornelius, and I guess I skipped over it

I tweted at him about GT and he retweeted it! He has retweeted a Purdue fan as well, but haven't seen him RT an OSU fan. Not that this matters, but just throwing it out there. Anyway, looks like him and Vad are making a good connecton which is VERY important to his recruitment and future at Tech (if he commits).

I thought it would count against football because that's the sport that is played first in the academic year. At least, that's what PJ told me when he had a two-sport kid at Southern, football and basketball.
