I was there.What? Did you watch the game? Both defenses dominated both offenses. Total yardage was 326 for them and 288 for us. 75 of their yards came in the last 30 seconds of regulation and OT. So we had held them to 250 total yards before that defensive debacle.
That was a fairly even game played at their house where they obviously benefited from having the off-season to scheme stunts to confuse option reads (by far Foster's best performance against CPJ).
What would have the score been if there was no missed goal and no blocked punt? Two mostly random events.
VT domination.
Everyone focuses on the last defensive debacle, but to get that lead, we converted on a long 4th down. Everyone forgets that we were very close to not even being in that situation. And that we owed it to a missed FG and blocked punt.
Anyway, on with the rankings:
#25 is Fresno State

Even though the numbers are off by one, I think #24 is Kansas State.
