In the spirit of goodwill and ACC camaraderie, I thought I'd help them out and supply a few ideas. Feel free to join in and submit your own.

First, I've got a helmet in honor of their staunch opposition to chop blocks. The pixelated logo represents their out-dated internet presence and harkens back to a day when dial up modems were commonplace. Which in Blacksburg is last week.





Next, I've got an ode to the true hokie. A hokie is a castrated turkey and what better way to celebrate a young man's transition from boy to Hokie than the very sheers used to render him a scrotum-less eunuch.





Third, I've got a concept taken from Oregon's multiple helmet colors. To convey the feeling of contantly choking, we've changed the hue of the Hokie maroon to a subtle blue. The type of blue found in the face of man as his oxygen supply is cut-off. The choking helmet is perfect for that big prime time game.





Last, a helmet concept which needs no explanation. It represent Virginia Tech's National Title.

Maybe the black helmet is the new helmet. It's invisible, so Beamer can continually run 12 or 13 guys into the huddle and not get flagged.

Anyone with half a brain wants VT to win out now. A win against a crappy team hurts GT. If VT only has two losses at the end of the year the win looks great.

They are actually tired of people referring to them by Virginia Tech when they would rather go by another name.

Alternatively, they decided that since nobody knows what a Hokie it was time for a new direction. Furthermore with the turmoil in Michigan, they know where they can get a coach for cheap. The new era of VIPSUe football begins now.
