Shut your whore mouth. Chubb is not Gurley. Gurley is once in a life time.
No. They've already had 5 or 6 Herschels in my lifetime.

Seriously, he's great but he's not once in a lifetime by any stretch.

They'll clear him and UGA will be commended for their cooperation with the investigation. Just watch. Too much SEC money at stake to DQ Gurley.
Just clearing the way for the SEC West. Nowadays the love fest is

SECWest > SECEast >>>>>>>> everyone else.

I love that it happened to UGAg, but still hate the NCAA.

I wanna agree with you, but this game this week is the biggest division game for UGA....the fact that they're scared enough to already suspend him would worry me if I was a dwag fan.
Scared or not they don't really have a choice.

Honest question- does this mean UGA is 0-5? Would be interesting how this plays out. First player that's been suspended mid-season for something like this. AJ Green and Manziel were both pre-season. Thomas was after the season.

I thought Green was mid-season.

Georgia is looking at at least 3 losses even if Gurley was out there. Missouri is a tough matchup for as well as Arkansas, with both games being on the road. Florida's defense will keep them in that game, the question will be whether or not the Gators can find an offense before then. If they can, Florida has a chance. Auburn is going to put 50 on Georgia, no question. Georgia has no chance at beating Auburn this year. At worst they could go 0-4 through those games, at best 3-1 with the loss to Auburn.

Just saw a report from Bruce Feldman

That the Gurley situation is VERY SIMILAR to that of Johnny Manzeil- the NCAA believes that improper benefits were received but cannot show the trail of how and where the money changed hands.

Also was just told that the University feels this could be resolved before the Mizzou game.

Basically, it's not what you know but what you can prove. Stay tuned...

Someone want to share what's going on on the UGAg boards?
Some highlights from the mouth breathers at http://www.secrant.com/rant/b/207/UGA-Sports.aspx

we're totally fricked
I swear to god this ööööe only happens to UGA.

frick.
There aren't enough four letter swear words in the English language to express how I feel right now..
frick frick frick frick frick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my predictions of us losing only 3 more seems wrong now.

Now I predict we lose 5 more. Losses to Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn, and Tech.
Can't decide if I want to abort the trip to Jacksonville or show up anyway AND RAGE TIL MY frickING EYES BLEED.
I'll go so I can rub ööööe all over Richt's f150 door handles. And watch this motherfricker burn to the ground. See the ööööe through. At this point we are all the violinists on the titanic

+1. This is typically the time of season when Parole Officer Richt drops the "internal discipline" hammer (i.e. slap on the hand and maybe a few laps around Sanford Stadium). They wanted to take no chances with this dumpster fire.

All of this hubbub actually got me to stream 680 here at work. They just read so and so's statement that UGA will not comment until at least next week.

Who knows
