No pass rush means we have to play a perfect game offensively. We lose due to a false start on 4th and 1. Our margin of error should not be so close.

Roof did well in his one year at PSU with decent talent. He did well last year at GT with better talent than they have right now.

Even Wommack is doing well at Ole Miss. Why? Because he has talent to coach.
 
I really feel bad for the players. It's quite embarrassing to lose to Duke and UNC in this fashion. It's pretty obvious half the team is in over their heads. We get the same results year after year it doesn't really matter who the coaches are. When you line up against better players 8-10 times a year you are going to lose a good bit. Yes, I'd argue Duke has better players now.

WRT this, I'm most disappointed on the secondary never playing the ball. There are chances to bat balls away. The coverage is often good but we don't rale at the hands or turn to spot the ball ever. That is frustrating when our guys are in position to make plays.

We did have the talent, or at least more talent, before the season. DL was just eviscerated.

Tenuta's last defense wasn't great either in 2007. Tenuta benefited from GOL recruits and a handful of 2*'s which developed really well.

You can't be serious bro. He is the HEAD coach. He effects everything, including defense. Recruiting and defense is his fault. Yea, offense is ok, but you can't pretend that roof is the reason that the D is bad and that CPJ has nothing to do with it. Get your head out of your ass
 
Seriously, we need to employ that same strategy as that HS coach in Arkansas...onside kicks and go for two every time.
 
This was a worse performance than Groh ever had

They had to keep the ball in front of them, or UNC did a ton of passes to the flats or quick completions.
 
That 2-4 team also had a really close loss to a team beating FSU right now. They said two upperclassmen came back for UNC's OL and that seemed to really help.
