So what happens if we lose to UGA

Roof just needs another year or two to get his guys in on defense and I really feel we'll start having consistently good ones. Defense played terrible tonight but there really isn't much to work with. Gotsis is the only guy on the D line that's starting quality and the rest of the defense is pretty average as far as the ACC goes.

Just how many more years do you have in you? We've sucked on D every year for the past 40 with the exception of '85, '89, '90, '04...

PJ will throw another D-coordinator under the bus

Nope. We as Tech fans should not be buying this DC scapegoat BS any longer. The last one was playing chess while everyone else is playing checking for goodness sakes.

I don't know do you think we need a new DC again already. Tonight and southern second half was really bad but I'm pretty much giving Roof a pass on this year considering what he's working with. I like that he played here and you can tell he really cares about the school.

The way the Offense is playing and the wins over VT and Miami CPJ will stay another year. If he wins beats Clemson and/or wins at UGA and wins the bowl game I can see an extension.

Wins vs UGA are, as we all know, few and far between. That's why blowing opportunities like last year and 2009 really suck.

Just two weeks ago I thought GT had a legitimate chance of going to Athens and having an opportunity to win. But I no longer feel that way --our D is plain bad, but what's worse is UGA loses Gurley and they've turned it up a notch.

I'm no longer looking forward to this game. But come game time I'll, as always, be positive that we'll put it all together and pull the upset.

I thought that was weird, too, that the dwags seem to play better without their Heisman Trophy autographer. Maybe Gurley is an energy vampire?

nothing....PJ is graduating more players than ever b/f and he is competitive. That is as good as it is ever going to get at GT.

There is NOT a coach in the country that could recruit GT to 12-0 seasons.

Saban could

I hope so. Would redeem a lot...

Just to repeat...

VT streak broke
UM streak broke
Duke streak broke
UNC streak broke

UVa, Clemson, and UGA streaks remain.

With any luck we will draw Utah in the bowl game.
