Dominique Noble a beast? The guy has like 30 tackles in the 4 years he has been on campus. He hasn't done anything to be called an average player, let alone be called a beast. What the öööö are you talking about?
Nothing average about being about to get on the field and contribute at this level of football. The average college football player probably plays many fewer minutes.

Davis best since Ted roof? Key fox was better than Ted roof.

Shoot, can't think of his name but the other LB that played with key fox was better than roof.

I just hope that Davis doesn't continue to get his bell rung. Hopefully he stays healthy. He's a great blitzer.

Obviously to even get a major college football offer you are in the top 99.9% of football players in the World. However, at this level he has contributed at an average level at best. Not everyone is a superstar. That doesn't mean we don't appreciate his contributions to the team. I just wouldn't oversell what he is.

I was a huge Gerris Wilkinson fan. I thought he never got his due as a player. I think he overlapped Key.

Daryl Smith and Key Fox were both drafted in 04. Wheeler and K. Hall played together for 3 years.

We have had some great linebackers. Mackell Harris, Lucious Sanford, Brooking, Rodgers, and one that played for the Falcons that I can't remember. In the Earlier period we had some All Americans that went both ways.

Phillip Wheeler, Gary Guyton, Ricardo Wimbush, Brandon Watts, Sedric Griffin, Brad Jefferson, Jeremiah Attaochu to name a few more.

We've been very fortunate at the linebacker position during the last 20 something seasons. That's what makes this year's relatively inexperienced crop a potential "weakness", in my opinion.

So add PJ David to the group and we're fine
