The tailgate was a resounding success. Great people, great food, great liquor... TIA, ContactBuzz, The Jacket, Architorture, SEB, Buzzczar, juraitwaluzka, GTMom, The Taxjacket... Thank you all for coming and making it a great tailgate. And of course Flunkout. Thank you for being such a gracious host as usual.

Next up Tulane...
 
The thing I love about how Johnson has the team playing is "buy in". These kids lay it on the line for one another...and of course it doesn't hurt to have a magician orchestrating it behind center.

You only had like 4 shots. Maybe 5. i stopped counting after 6.

Thanks to JF77 for the bourbon recommendation. Devil's cut would have been too heavy. The bird was light and smooth.
 
Yeah, and a bunch of beers. Anyway, I'll be more careful next time, no liquor/beer mix!

I'm just glad to have the two extra days this week to work on the miscues I had yesterday. I didn't put myself in a position to have a better performance and that's on me, but it is what it is.

What bourbon was it? Devil's Cut is very densely flavored. I'd go with a Woodbridge and water it down a little.

Oh that, yeah. Well, I woke up alone in bed and with no fresh cuts or bruises so I'm guessing he and I didn't cross streams.
