I was coming back from a party and him and a few of his football buddies were walking around smoking cigars. I couldn't tell if they were drunk, but they probably were.

Good times.
 
So what, why does this even have too be posted? Guess what? Football players are college students too. Unless he's hurting the team by his actions, which this isn't, it really isn't news worthy.

I remember when I was in college and at a party in 1994 off campus, I walked out on this girls back porch only to find the entire starting offensive line smoking pot. I almost said "No wonder we suck so bad", but I thought against it as they would have probably kicked the crap out of me.
 
I met his mom a couple of weeks ago at a gas pump. (no joke) She wasn't drunk though.

Nice lady.
 
I met a gas pump attendant earlier this year at The Varsity. He was drunk.

Strange fellow.

You couldn't tell if they were drunk, but you state that they probably were? Based on what exactly? I certainly don't think our players are angels or don't ever do anything wrong or even illegal, but if they didn't look drunk to you, then what makes you think they were?

I saw your sister walking down the street the other day. I couldn't tell if she was a coked up prostitute, but she probably was.
 
no big deal? it bugs me to no end when i see collegiate football athletes smoking. ever wonder why some give out at the end of a game?
 
Did I misread the initial post? I read it as a laugh and not a codemning post.
 
This whole thread is becoming random and weird, and why does BarrelORum seem to be so angry all the time?
 
I'm not condemning them. I have gotten drunk and smoked cigars too. Like I said, good times.
 
Hopefully Mr. Nesbitt will be smoking a cigar Saturday night.

I for sure will be. I have a Cuban Montecristo A waiting in my humidor. I trust I will be celebrating a win, but even if not, it's my birthday on Saturday, so reason enough right there.

Let' see, BSEE '09 right? So I'm figuring you're what, 20? So were you drunk? Tell the truth, that's why you couldn't tell if they were right? Or, it's why you thought they probably were (everybody seems drunk when you are)? And just where was this alleged party? Were the people there of legal age? Was in on campus? Which dorm/frat house? I'm calling for a full blown investigation and severe disciplinary action. I mean, drinking on campus? By college students? This has to stop now!!!

Just a hint man. Not a good idea to post observations like that about varsity athletes on the internet. Someone will run with it.

Me too Matato - happy birthday to us. My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I said I just wanted to watch uninterrupted football all stinkin' day. I really can't think of a better gift from the NCAA. Thanks Myles.
