Surprised there is not thread for this on Hate Week. I only caught about 15 minutes of it, but I got the following:

- 680 has declared we have "zero chance of winning this game"

- We are starting 7 freshmen on offense and 4 freshmen on the defensive front 7 this week

- Of the people who have made their way into the starting rotation this year, it is likely that most of them will not play a down next year. This seems to be particularly true and running back positions

barbecue bill started the show complaining about uniform colors. must be a douche nozzle from TOS.

Did not understand him to say those frosh were starting, only that at times they were on the field . Not sure, except tired of excuses.

Beat ugag.

Now I know what all the retarts here that whine about uniforms sounds like in person.

It was in response to Gaudin's question about freshmen and playing time. I think the only thing CPJ hasn't blamed this season on is injuries. He seemed to have a lot to say about blocking, fumbling, and penalties.

not sure I follow this point. Which FR that are starting will not play a down next year, and why not? That does not make sense.

Scion, I believe Marshall & Lynch read ST, so sleep well now, ya hear!

As said, CPJ primarily alluded to running backs. We have J.J. Green getting his eligibility, and we have Cottrell - our most game ready A-Back according to CPJ - returning next year. Coach also said that Lynn Griffin's natural position is running back, and he is glad that Griffin made the move.

We also will have Marshall, Allen, Leggett, Weimerskirch, Searcy, Lynch, and MLD coming back next year. Folks like Taquon Marshall will probably not get touches next year.

All together, we will likely have 3 in rotation at B-Back and 6 in rotation at A-Back barring any injuries, and a few of those that played this year won't play next year.

Coach seemed to be happy with both, and they seem like they will play. He wasn't happy with Marcus Marshall's abilities when he isn't carrying the ball. Sounds like he needs to work on blocking.

It didn't sound like an excuse, but you're right he didn't say starting. He also didn't say those guys wouldn't play a down. He said that they'd have to fight to keep their jobs next year.

I wonder if he will consider red shirting some of the backs that were forced to play too early. We did it with BJ Bostic a few years back. If we have a logjam of bodies maybe you give the guys an extra year in the weight room and working on fundamentals.

Clearly A Back is not quite as "plug and play" like a lot of people used to think it was.

TL;DL

Recap of Miami disaster.

Caller: Uniform guy called and sounded dumb, again. Crowd laughs while he's talking. Great start to set the mood.

Caller: Justin Thomas status? Can we bring linebackers up to stop the run?
Will know more about JT later, but optimistic he'll play. Cheap shot from behind after a handoff.
Georgia isn't necessarily 1 dimensional, but gotta stop the run.
M. Jordan was hot and cold, shoulda pitched it a few more times, a few poor decisions / ball security. 1st time on the road, blah, blah, blah. Admitted that he got on him for pitching late & behind the A-back and wasn't surprised that he kept it a lot after that. Same with 'gotta throw it deep' and then he did for a pick.

Georgia Southern played tough. Georgia is solid on defense.

L. Griffin looked good, CPJ is excited about him. Tried to talk him into running in the fall/last spring.

Over 300 yards rushing - we've moved the ball in every game except Clemson. Just have to stop giving the ball away. Score per possession is more important than absolute points, but we're giving the ball instead of putting points up.

Never dreamed that we'd have 7 freshman on offense this year. (see above). 1st time he can remember playing this many freshman. N. Cottrell, Q. Searcy, J. Green, etc will displace the guys playing now. C. Lynch gotten much better.

Schedule w/ Thanksgiving - changes, etc.

Caller: proud of last year's team and the effort this year, better to be a Tech fan at 3-8 than a dawg fan. Old fan, proud member of the 1-11 club. Motivational attempt. CPJ hears 'win one game a year' a lot. CPJ confirms effort has been there every week.

Caller: Does 680 saying we have no chance add motivation? Same group that said Pruitt won't be coaching vs. Kentucky - don't pay attention. Promise they'll play as hard as the guys can.

Seniors have seen highs and lows. Most all seniors will have or get their degree. Most things worthwhile are tough to achieve. NFL careers are brief, so the degree is a big deal.

Played 2 of the top 4 on the road.

Caller: Have you gained recruits from somewhere else firing their coach? Who is the toughest kid you ever coached. CPJ goes straight to the commitment list when a coach gets fired. Can't figure out why coaches get fired when the school doesn't know who they are going to hire. But its a business and if you lose, you get fired. Talked about Syracuse. 3 years, QB gets hurt, Syracuse normally sucks. No way to pick the toughest guy, too many of them.

Do injured players travel? Only captains have the option - A. Gotsis stayed back to keep rehabbing.

PJ Davis is playing hurt, but CPJ can barely get him to come off the field.

B. Mitchell - hot and cold. D. Noble has played well, good to see from a Sr that hasn't played a lot. T. Marcordes playing hurt - duct tape, etc.

Flush losses as a head coach, tough? CPJ says his family needs a gold star for putting up with him this season. He hasn't been fun to be around. Most frustrating year of his career, will stick with him for a while.

More lessons in losing than winning? CPJ sees lessons in losing, but he doesn't like 'em. Cannot take winning for granted. Some guys got caught up in the hype, forgot the hard work part. Not much difference in the two seasons, except we won the close games. S. Days and Laskey were playing at a high level (watching UGA game tape) - tough to compare 22 year olds to M. Marshall at 18. Custis, Leggett were supposed to be at B-back this year. Quaide, etc.

81 year old lady caller: Ease my mind that he isn't going anywhere. CPJ says he is trying to get through this year. No plans to move and no one wants a coach with 3 wins.

Keys to beat Georgia: hold onto the ball, run the ball, stop the run.

Lamented giving up leads. 21 UNC, 14 VT, 20 UGA 2013.

Thanks for sticking with the team, appreciate the support. Zinger on farmersonly.com subscription collection for Brandon.

CPJ on Buck and Kincade now.

Same stuff. 4 turnovers to none. 7 freshman playing on offense. Went from going up 14-7 to going down 14-7 and then 21-7 after another costly turnover.

Clever!

Let me guess. Buck was tolerable, and Kincaid was an obnoxious twat.
