Official bowl thread

I understand not coaching the bowl game, but Richt didn't even travel to El Paso?
 
I know I should pull for Miami, but it's tough. Wash St is the underdog program against a traditional powerhouse, I like Mike Leach, and also öööö Miami.

Out recruiting? Or is it still dead period? If he was my coach, and he could be recruiting now, that is what I would want him to do.

Or perhaps, talking to potential asst. coaches?

Miami sunshine v El Paso cold rain and wind. Richt was a dwag, but not completely stoopid.

He could fly in for one day and sit in the press box. It would be worth it just for the on-air, in person interview. There's probably a recruit or two in West Texas he can visit while out there.
 
I could not be happier to see Miami playing in a blizzard. öööö Miami.

Wow, that stadium was pretty empty even early in the game. Our Sun Bowl crowds were better than that.

I remember El Paso actually liking Tech, so they came out to support us a bit. It also could've been because USC was öööö-talking El Paso, but who knows?

I was all set to go to that USC Sun Bowl, but got sick and had to cancel on the day I was supposed to fly out. That sucked and cost me a fortune.

I was at the stupid game against Utah, though. I guess it's an easier trip to El Paso for Utah people, but Tech had a few people there and the locals seemed to turn out for the game.

I had all but forgotten that game against Utah but you had to go and remind me! Ack!
 
Figures that Miami would get back in this game a) when the blizzard started and b) when I started watching the game. I think I might have some sort of superpower where nothing I want to happen actually happens.

That #6 for Miami is a really stupid player. What was that weak ass push in the back he tried? Then again, he does play for Miami...
