Game balls are often a sign of respect, usually given from a coach to a star player.

They don’t start brawls.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case Wednesday when Auburn beat Memphis, 31-10, in the Birmingham Bowl. After the game, Memphis safety Reggis Ball appeared to lay out an Auburn ball boy, snatch a pigskin and run off.

Reporters noticed that Ball—the younger brother of former Georgia Tech quarterback Reggie Ball—was also flipping the bird:

Some how The NCAA will come down on Tech for this. Vacate the FSU win perhaps?

he tries to steal a ball every time he gets a pick in a game. pretty funny tradition to have.

I ain't even mad. It was probably the last football game he'd ever play. Go out and do something totally crazy and have an Auburn game ball to put on your mantle.

I also didn't realize it was Reggie's other brother, Marcus, who was the Carolina practice squad player who got Odell Beckham Jr. all butthurt pregame by carrying a baseball bat.

I think Reggie was the most sane of the bunch.

Lol, for real? This öööö is hilarious.

I hope the kid has been properly humbleized now.

I actually don't think this is that bad at all. When he gets a pick he steals a game ball. That's funny. Maybe a little overboard in the video, but it's not like he hurt the guy.
