Any respectable NewYears eve party should have the games on. But wont be able to devote full attention due to being sociable and going for refills

They finally got it going - we will see if it means the flood gates are open on Oklahoma or if we are in for a fight.
 
I want Clemson to win, but I really don't want Clemson fans to be happy. I think my hate and anger is stronger than my lukewarm desire for ACC not to be mocked. I hope Clemson gets up 3 scores then pisses it away in a collapse of epic proportions in the final 5 minutes. I liked it when 'Clemsoning' was still a thing.
 
Want Clemson to win it all. I don't hate them and most of their fans. Have always enjoyed our rivalry and most of their fans are pleasant after the fact win or lose...

Clemson crushes OK.
Mich St. crushes Alabama.

Mich St. beats Clemson in OT.

That would be my ideal playoffs. Shut up the annoying Big 12 and SEC fanbases. Don't let a rival get a championship. ACC still looks good. And Michigan St, a program which I've always liked, wins the NC.
 
I'll be very happy if Clemson wins. They are carrying the torch for the ACC and if it can't be us, Clemson is my 2nd choice.
 
After their NC in '79 ('81?) they were UGA obnoxious, if not worse. More recently they've been pretty classy, even with the historic run they've had in the past few years.
 
What a dumb sequence of plays from 2nd and 2.

They've shown an inability to tackle you, and you first go for a pass play, and then a silly trick play which sends the ball about 15 yards behind the snap.
 
I've had zero bad experiences with Clemson fans, and always have a great time when we play up there. Dabo is a great coach. Glad to see them repping the ACC, which even though many Tech fans refuse to acknowledge it, is important.

I went to Clemson that year (1981) for our game against Clemson. Our QB (post Mike Kelly) was a guy Stu Rogers, I think. They almost killed him. And the Clemson fans were cheering.

Took me a long time to put that in the past.

But Clemson has shown a lot of class since then so I'm cool with them and hope they win it all.

They had a straight up tobacco chewing redneck coach back then; hopefully their attitude will be more sophisticated this time.
 
Can't believe some of you are pulling for Clemson. They are our second biggest rival. I don't want them to ever even sniff a natty. Boomer sooner!
