Should be a competitive game. They are coming off a win against Louisville (41-38) and had a close loss to Georgia (24-27). They beat Vandy (20-13).

While I think we will win, I think it will be a close contest for most (if not all) of the game. Having said that, I have not seen them play, nor am I familiar with their coaches, schemes, or players.

Their head coach was the DC when we played FSU in the 2012 ACCCG.

They play physical. CPJ mentioned this when breaking down the UGA-UK film in prep for UGA.

UK likes to run the ball. Could be another fast paced game like COFH.

He brought some folks with him, I believe. Their DC is DJ Eliot and he was the defensive end coach for the same FSU squad.

This doesn't have any bearing on the actual game but I thought it was interesting that their current WR coach, Lamar Thomas, was the Miami alum who got fired from color commentary for his comments during the Miami/FIU brawl several years ago.

I'm always excited to have another GT game to look forward to but this is a match up I just don't care about. Looking forward to watching our guys play one more time, but Kentucky? Meh.

And I'm sure they're saying the same thing about us, with the difference being this has to be their first bowl game in decades or centuries, and we're a ööööload better than them.

Going 3-0 against the SEC will be nice, but they're a less than stellar team. It will be interesting to see how CPJ handles the QB situation since JT is about to graduate. Let JT work the 1st half and MJ work the 2nd half?

No.

JT plays the whole game because he's earned it. And if he wants to scrimmage some scrubs on the field after whipping Kentucky's ass, he can do that. Also, if he feels like banging anyone's mom on the field, he can do that too.

All I know about Kentucky is they like to öööö horses and they hold a big event every year and wear big fluffy hats to watch some horse ööööing. Oh I also know their fried chicken is not real chicken, it's something like this:

So, buy low on butthurt futures since we roll to an easy win? :drink2:

Kentucky has a decent team this year. With a rush defense that ranks 108th, I don't think they will be able to contain our running game, even with the extra preparation time. They will need a couple turnovers to beat us, but it could happen. A lot of teams underestimated Kentucky this year and some paid a price for it, so I hope that doesn't happen to Tech.

Mind rite

They are famous for something called a Hot Brown. And ööööing horses.
