Kentucky is the better team

Kentucky is in the rear view mirror now. They will never match us in SEC football championships, nor equal us in Sugar Bowl victories.

I think it's cute that they pretend to know football. I don't know how many Kentucky fans I had educate at the Landing in Jacksonville that night because they kept saying we won by chop blocking them to injure them on purpose. And something about the ref giving us the game. Ref giving us the game in an ACC-SEC matchup... that's rich...

This is great.

So basically, it's probably a bad idea to ever run an offensive play since there are too may things that could go wrong.
Yes, finally. Taking a knee at the end of the half or game is soooo risky. I'm always screaming at our coach "What are you doing? Punt the damn ball!"

I had to do the same with a Duke fan, I think it was Duke, that kept calling false start every play on our A back motion. Just got tired of hearing him yell "false start" and "illegal shift" turned around and explained how it was legal and has been for a century.

I'm going to say the worst coaching decision was not to put someone over the left guard on 4th and 1. You are basically hoping for a bad snap or exchange. Short of that Mills could have tripped and still gotten the first down.

At least they put someone over center.

Agreed. Essentially, going for it on 4th and 1 wasn't Paul Johnson's decision. He was going to call a timeout and punt, but they didn't cover the guard and JT snapped the ball. It was the KY DC's decision for us to go for it on 4th and 1.

Had the middle LB come up and filled that spot we would have punted. As it was, he played the qb and even flowed outside after the snap.

According tot hem, their success passing the ball means they could have passed all game to set up the run and won! Except this success was when we were nursing a 2+ score lead and playing quarters safe, and we still got pressure rushing 3-4.

Are you nuts? Do you have any idea how much can go wrong with a punt? We had a punt blocked in that very game.

according to their delusional fan base. They argue that the better team doesn't always win. If not for some lucky breaks and corrupt officials, we would have lost.

I know, it's totally lucky when you line up in the "fake play" offense on 4th and 1 from your own 16 yard line, and then get 4 yards because the other team didn't think to actually defend the play.

We're so lucky.

Um, let it go. We won.

Recruiting - find QB - Spring Practice - ut - SELL FREAKING TICKETS
