They were in the national championship game this decade and they dictate to the conference we are currently in what they want to do, and the acc submits like a bitch.
And got absolutely embarrassed and throttled.

Question: What other team gets the sweetheart 'half entrance' deal the ACC offered ND?

Answer: No one

Now sit down and shut up.
What year is it in the planet you are living on? It is 2017 on mine and ND is a laughingstock. They are the 2004 version of Mike Tyson who was still drawing crowds in name only and was busy getting knocked out by Danny Williams and quitting against bums like Kevin McBride. There is absolutely no reason to bow down to Notre Dame anymore. They are a joke. On a level playing field they have been exposed as mediocre.

They don't move anything which is why they are trying to join a conference. They realized it isn't 1975 anymore which you obviously haven't. They have no more built in advantages to help them and the cheerleading media they had for so long are either retiring or dying off. Kids today don't give two öööös about ND. Step into 2017 it is a great time to be alive.

Were you excited last time ND came to GT?

BDS only gets that lit a few times a decade, bro.

They still matter regardless how butthurt you are about it.

There isn't anything to get excited about ND. It was just another game. Look at ND's record the last 25 years. It is littered with embarrassing loses and clown coaches and the one time they had a good season they were destroyed and embarrassed in the NC game. It isn't 1973 anymore. ND is a mediocre laughingstock. Look at the coaching hires they have been forced to make. Nobody worth a crap wants to go there anymore.

ND has to be at least partially in a comference because of modern scheduling realities, not because they are desperate. Every conference would give their left nut to land ND.

I think ronricks needs to point to where on the doll ND hurt him...

Funny because you don't see any other conferences pandering to ND but the ACC. I could maybe see the B1G being an option geographically. The ACC has made fools of itself trying to reel in a relic of a program who in current times amounts to seeing Mickey Mantle stumble around in the outfield in 1968 at the end of his career. After another mediocre season ND will fire Kelly and then have to settle on another Davie/Willingham/Weis type hire and will continue to live off things they did 30 years ago in an age when they had an exclusive tv deal and were on tv every weekend. Those times are long gone.

I'm eagerly awaiting links to data on who has been pandering to who.

ND would only fully join in BB and half join in FB if it were beneficial to ND. That is a sign of changing times. But one thing I know for sure is öööö ND.

Yet NBC gives them a television contract that we could only dream to have. Every Catholic church in the country sells their brand.

What ND brings to the ACC is media. They are the yard stick the national sports media uses to measure football prowess. ND is just about perfect for the ACC. They are mediocre, they will lose most of the ACC games, and the media will report how strong the ACC is for beating ND. Anytime the media wants to suck up to the SEC, the ACC can say, "but we are 5-2 against ND", and the media will have to genuflect before us. How can you say that the conference that made ND its bitch is inferior to the SEC without offending all the ND fans across the nation? Let them come in on whatever plan they want, and then stomp their kelly green asses. Then tell the rest of the college football world to take a hike.

That's the problem. Beating ND isn't what it used to be. It is just another game. Which has been my point. Not sure why people on here are acting otherwise.

Because you are having a different conversion from everyone else. The comment you quoted said they aren't what they once were but the media covers hem like they are. What they bring is ratings, money and attention which is what EVERYONE else has said. Those 3 things are huge.

Beating ND might not be what it used to be, it is still great fun. Think of it as sex after being married a few years if it helps. Besides, the ND fans I know are still obnoxious and need more beatings. If we beat uga 20 years in a row, I will still relish #21.

Every win is fun. But in 2017 beating ND is meaningless. Doesn't mean it can't be fun. ND is not and has not been a measuring stick in decades.
