It would depend on how the game goes, I think. If we lose by two scores, I dunno, maybe the UHaul is in his driveway when he gets home. If we lose on a last second Bowling Green field goal or, more likely, a last second Tech missed field goal, maybe he gets the rest of the year. If we win, I'm sending Paul Johnson the bill for late fees on this tank I rented.

I can't see a scenario where he's fired mid-season. You're not changing the offense mid-season, and if you stay with the current offense, CPJ is the best person to run it.

The only way I see anything happening, even if we lose to BG, is if CPJ agrees to retire at the end of the season and that's announced. But even that wouldn't happen unless a replacement was close to being named (otherwise recruiting would further tank). And you can't name a replacement, or even interview now unless he's not currently coaching.
