Bradley: Tech wants to keep Johnson. That might not be an option.

Can we be real for a second?
UGA is going to pick us up and body slam us while the rest of the team just looks around wanting to get off the field and not be tackled next.

Johnson better not be pinning his hopes of staying employed on beating UGA.
Y'all were saying the same öööö in 2014 after we had just lost to Duke and UNC. We'd lost a few in a row to the Dwags and gotten blasted in 2012 (the suplex game). I'm not worried about UGA - we just need to get ourselves back in rhythm before then.

Faith Hope & Love

Figure you got the love part at least

He doesn't have any incentive in his contract to beat ugag. Surely he would not be pinning his job on the hope of beating them.
Nm. Its not in there.

Pretty sure it was in the old ones but didnt feel like rifling through them.

This article is depressingly true. If PJ had not made some horrible tactical decisions this yr I might overlook his bad recruiting and irritating personality --but he should be 4-3 anyway AT WORST...

This is the kind of öööö that gets sig'ed. This is even more delusional than your normal nonsense man. If you're drinking, either stop drinking or drink a lot more.

My assumption on all of this is that Stansbury is holding off on firing CPJ while he tries to fix all of the background issues (locker room upgrade, apparel contract, more money for recruiting, and possibly even relaxed admissions). The thought would be that the next coach would start on more even ground with the other schools. I could be way off on that though.

The house is collapsing around him. His hand will be forced. No one wants to watch another year of this crap.

I think you are pretty much on track with that. I think the plan is once the program level problems are fixed, CPJ has a couple of good years and then retires. The plan may get jack knifed if this season continues down the diaster trail.

You keep Johnson, and we'll take one of those top 3.

Exactly. You take one of those 3 like Kiffin or old man Briles; because if Venables let's it be known he seriously wants to be a head coach, he'll get a better offer than what we are.

Edit: Hey, remember that team with USC pre-season #1 level talent that CPJ embarrassed in the Sun Bowl with a mediocre GT team? Let's hire the coach of that team. smh
