Atlanta Legends

I'm glad you could forgive a guy that would put dogs in a tarp, lower them into a pool, and turn the electricity on, because they lost in a dog fighting match. Glad you could forgive him and watch him lead former GT athletes. Good for you.
So long as you don’t root for any pro team I guess this is an ok viewpoint.

But yeah, a guy killed dogs and paid twice the price (or more) as someone who killed people and has done twice as much (or more) to earn forgiveness than those that have killed people. Yet you treat him like enemy #1.

Atlanta's Alliance of American Football franchise has a good bit of Georgia Tech talent: the Austin twins, Freddie Burden, PJ Davis, Keshun Freeman, Stephen Hill and Brandon Watts.

Brad Childress is the head coach, Michael Vick is the offensive coodinator. Can we add him to the list?!

Colors: purple, gold and white.

Seems like a nice opportunity for some of our guys to continue their football dreams.

Mods, move if wrong forum.
A stunning array of talent

IDK....I still think a real football league that doesn't try to compete with the NFL or college football could be a moderate success. You can't expect NFL, NBA, NHL, or MLB numbers but it can certainly pull in ratings equal to drag racing, WNBA, etc.... or some of the other sports I see on tv. The XFL would have been a success if it wasn't ridiculous and over the top, the USFL would have lasted had it not wanted to move to the fall. If the people in charge of this provide good football and look for slow steady growth.....it could work.

Not really. What did he accomplish as an NFL quarterback you little liberal maggot

During his six years with the Falcons, Ron Mexico was regarded as having transformed the quarterback position with his rushing abilities and was named to three Pro Bowls. He holds the record for the most career rushing yards by a quarterback (6,109) and the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a season (1,039).

How does overlooking someone's dog torturing and killing past make them a "little liberal maggot"? Wouldn't a "little liberal maggot" hate dog fighting and people who are cruel to fuzzy animals??

Yeah, the main thing will be not trying to be NFL-lite. There's plenty of NFL to go around already, especially in towns with NFL teams. So gotta make sure you can hit the QB, and holding is actually called occasionally, and tickets are cheap, etc. If they can keep the games competitive, it might be interesting to watch – especially if they're heavy with local talent. People get invested in the college kids and enjoy watching them continue playing.

I'd be a lot more like to go watch the 2014 team play another game against the 2014 UGA team, today, than go to an NFL game.

Actually, I may be on to something there: "GMFL" the Grudge Match Football League. Let five years pass then recruit all the players from close rivalry games to play again. I'd pay to watch that.

Obligatory Best of Times reference...
