I do believe Tech is on an upward trajectory. I live in Tallahassee, and trust me, the idiot FSU hired is going to run them further in the ditch

Yeah, that hire surprised me, too...Reminds me of the Miami hire in 2006 when they foolishly fired Larry Coker. Miami has been down every since...

I think Larry Coker's firing was the first time a national championship winner was fired for performance (not due to rules violations). That said, he couldn't recruit like Butch and after a few years it showed.

They are pretty close to it now
 
They have talent right now, they just got rocked by injuries in 2017 and Fedora lost the team this year. If Mack makes the right hires, they’ll be ok, but he seems to be hiring people he worked with when he was coaching, so it’s a bunch of people the game has passed by. We’ll see, but I hope they end up stinking out loud too.
