Apparently "their coaches" have been better than ours

This is the most ridiculous post I've ever seen on this board. ööööing unbelievable.

I was responding to the post above mine that said the tweet was dumb. I basically meant we could make a case to support it.

I saw a story on Trevor Lawrence that stated that his journey to Clemson started after seeing us beat the Dwags in 2016. He thought Kirby was in over his head. The mutts then turned to Fields. Think about how that all turned out. Puts a smile on my face.

You gotta find a link. I want it to be true.

I will try. I know I saw that. From what I read Richt had blown it with him and Kirby was working hard on him. He only had that 8-5 season to evaluate Kirby and the loss to us was the final nail. He committed to Clemson a week or two after that loss. I remember how bad Kirby was getting hammered by their own fans after that loss, too.

I've spent the last coupla days trying to care what people say on most likely the pathetic website in the history of pathetic websites. Really gave it effort.

Still got nothing. They can go piss up a rope.

It's pretty straight forward.....since the CRA in the 60's ( and thank God it passed), if ugag's ADs had even a hint at gonads, they would have fired the entire coaching coaching staff each and every time we have won. Talk about taking a knife into a gun fight! When the guys with the guns lose, they should be fired. If we can win THREE times in Athens during CGCs first 11 years, Kirby might not have a statue at Sanford's entrance after all, and if we can mix in 1-2 in Atlanta during that time, he will have to deal with moving vans instead of posing for statues. Of course, if, is a Big small word.

I used to post on the dawgrant a lot back when there were grownups there. Got some good friends out of the old group.

Couple of pretty good fellers still there, but I feel sorry for them having to hang around with a bunch of middle schoolers.

The main secrant board is a wasteland of idioticness.

You know there’s like reasons behind him not recruiting well, right.
ööööty two-star player criticizes coach who gave him scholarship for being a ööööty recruiter.

This is as bad as the old timers from the 80s who couldn't beat Furman coming on here and bitching about Paul not winning more ACC titles.

Who was a better coach? That’s what we are talking about here.

Richt recruited better, had better defenses and ST, and was 8-3 vs CPJ (am throwing in Miami stint)

Am curious how it can possibly be spun that CPJ was a better coach than Richt? We had more rushing yards - that's about it.

You really can’t see that spin?

1. Richt had mediocre special teams.
2. The defensive talent isn’t comparable
3. We had top ten offenses, imagine what a boat load of 4 and 5 stars would have done on the offensive line in the triple option.

I’m saying that if CPJ had the same players and tenure as Mark then he would have won nattys.

****I know he couldn’t recruit, we are talking about coaching.

I guess I was thinking about Head Coaching, which does include the aspects I mentioned.

Plus, it's hard to forget the poor coaching jobs in 2009 and 2013. Richt wasn't a great coach but he absolutely had CPJ's number.
