The greatest possible infrastructure improvement for GT athletics would be to install some sort of covering/shade for the East Stands. I'd upgrade my season tickets to the East in a heartbeat if something like that were installed.
How is it going to cover a setting sun in the afternoon? Is it a giant umbrella held up by the Coke building?

Wrong. As I said for you to read, TV only dictates some games. Sadly not very many of ours to be brutally honest.
Read where? All of our games were on TV last year in some format as best I can remember.

Look I live 700 miles away and have had season tickets for 25 years. Just stop.... The conversation was not about what we should or shouldn’t try; it is simply about the effectiveness when doing color outs with gold or white in the winter.

As to player comment about enthusiasm, Vpi is trending negatively. Watch and see how loud and full they are when going 7-5 for six years.

Also BDS used to be loud and fun. Now we have the quiet club section that intimidates no one, and the stupid piped in noise that ruins the natural fan involvement.
Club seats are a good idea - just don't put them in prime real estate. Those seats are going to sell well anyway. Put club seats (read: drinking seats) in the south end zone, with terrace access.

You know, use the hook (alcohol) to sell seats that you otherwise suffer from lower demand. Should boost revenue.

Not true. The games were either televised locally, regional affiliate/split broadcast/nationally or on the ESPN+/ACC Networks. GT had control over 0 of its kickoff game times last season.

Local television sure mandates a lot of nooners.

That’s the local affiliate picking up the feed. They have an ACC crew doing the games.

Do you really not understand how the TV contracts with the conference work?

Why in the f would GT willingly choose a game time that doesn’t maximize ticket sales/revenue?

My apologies. GT has never chosen a noon game. TV just always magically wants our games to be at noon.

GT has also never made decisions that dont maximize ticket sales/revenue. They have achieved perfection on that.

I'm a little confused... is there a genuine dispute about this? TV magically wants the "best" match-up, and unfortunately until we get better consistently, we're rarely going to be the best match-up.

And we should keep the clubs seats except for the first rows. We lost one of the loudest stadiums and are now a cream puff.

We should tier a section right behind the visitor's bench for students, about like basketball. Give them about 10 rows between the 40's. Make it to where they can stand all game without interfering with the club seats.

Yeah, that is actually a great idea.

Are you saying we get forced to noon because we are the worst matchup?
