anything about 1st practice?

I know and appreciate that the team wanted it private, but thought somebody might have a double secret, in the know, underground, inside source that might have word.

Practices are Tu, Th, and Sat. correct?

I heard from a good source that one of the players said practice was a lot of fun.

Serious or sarcastic?
Serious, this goes along with some of the things I heard about winter AM workouts, also they got very hard (winter workouts) before they were over. They changed things up, did a lot of different type workouts, ATL Fire Dept., Navy Seals. CGC seems to have a reputation for doing things different.
I know there seems to be a lot sarcastic dialog on this site, but I'm usually not that way, it gets confusing to me, I might put a smilie up every now and then. I'm not up on the "hip" phrasing etc. it gets confusing for me. I'm old, just glad to be vertical

It’s so like totally uncool to use hip phrasing these days anyway.

When will we know about position changes? I assume we might have an OL or two switch to DL, RB's to WR's.

They probably will be moving people all over the place the next couple weeks to see what fits best for the team, but I imagine we wont hear official changes until the end of camp. There might even be more changes during fall camp depending on transfers.

Top candidates to change are probably:
OL->DL: Austin Smith, Jahaziel Lee (less likely but possible)
RB -> WR: Cottrell, Jarrett, Gantt, Whatley, Smith (basically the A-backs)

I could see Cottrell having the right toolset for slot. He’s so explosive. Would be deadly on quick posts down the middle.

Hope we find a way to get Gantt touches. I thought he’d be a difference maker at AB when we signed him. He was electric with the ball in HS.

I mean we arent in pads yet. So I think they may be repping at different spots then as we put pads on and see where they fallout. Official changes vs trying another position could take a while. I am sure we have a bunch of guys exploring right now. Finding a home will take a while

I always thought Hansen or Tufele might be good switches to DT if needed.

It's some kind of new handoff, but I don't see the guy he's handing it to. Must be a trick play?
It's called the Statue of Liberty play, and it is new. Well, relatively new, compared to what we are used to.

I hear we got rid of 23 Skidoo. I'll miss that.
