I could see Cottrell having the right toolset for slot. He’s so explosive. Would be deadly on quick posts down the middle.

Hope we find a way to get Gantt touches. I thought he’d be a difference maker at AB when we signed him. He was electric with the ball in HS.

Cottrell has no wiggle. It’s all straight ahead speed. I don’t see how that will translate to a slot WR at all.

You don’t need wiggle on the slant. Also, he could be deadly on the RPO as the motion man.

Never is a bit much. Rolling that way isn't necessarily bad, but that was a horrible play in that situation. JT was new to the game, he had just come in and was a freshman, and we had shown no ability to block Miami.

I've always thought Cottrell deserved a look at kick return (due to the straight line speed).

Brent Key's one season calling plays ended with the entire staff getting fired, him losing his head-coach-in-waiting status, and UCF putting up one of the worst statistical seasons in FBS this century. As bad as our 2015 season was, Tech scored as many points the first three games of the season as Key put up the entire year. Key sucked dick as a play caller.
