Swap Miami for FSU. Done.

We are the closest ACC school to FSU and that series should always be played every year.

Clemson-FSU was always a made-up thing of significance cuz Bowden

Has the conversation has ever been presented to move teams from the coastal to the Atlantic and vice versa? Maybe this would make ACC football a little more competitive and entertaining on and off the field and draw in more of an outside audience. Also to make it more regional. Lets be real, no one outside of die-hard fans care when Pitt travels to Atlanta or Boston College travels to where ever down south. But to make the divisions more regional, I think would be better for the conference. You would probably see stadiums filled and ticket sales go up. Personally, I would love it if the conference would change it up. The following is just something i came up with. Thoughts? Opinions?

Coastal
Ga Tech
Clemson
FSU
Miami
UNC
NC State
Duke

Atlantic
Boston Coll
Syracuse
Pitt
Louisville
UVA
Va Tech
Wake

Braine didn’t think we could compete so he negotiated us into the small private school division.

IMO Don't think a division lineup resembling old BE conference would be wise, things change over time, somewhere down the line whatever the lineup might be folks would want to change it again. Let market forces make the adjustment, IE: cgc sees a magnificent opportunity at GT and believes he can take this program to being one of the premier programs in the ACC, competing with clemson, fsu for conference and national championships. IMO mkt forces work the best over time, particularly if they are not regulated from being mkt forces.

They should have switched us and UL when Maryland left. It was a natural switch. The only loss would be breaking our long streak with Duke that no one cares about.

In a few years Clemson, FSU, and Miami would all whine about how GT crushes them every year, and UNC would whine about how everyone crushed them.

So the conference would move UNC out.
