I advocated for Charlie Strong to replace Chan. I was wrong.

Its not like he ran them into the ground. They are only a couple years out from their CFP appearance. Weird.
I think I remember reading when he was leaving Boise that he has a sick child or one that needs a lot of attention and care. Don't remember the details. That could be a part of it.

Maybe he needs some time off to get his groove back.... maybe there is a big time opening he is pursuing
Doubt it, but anything is possible. Looks more like an urban meyer move to take a break then get to pick your opening when you come back.

Are we speculating in this thread?

Ole Miss move reeks of them already having the Memphis coach locked up. OM cant wait another year cause everyone will be calling him.

Very curious who FSU actually ends up with. They could do worse than to try the kid coordinator from LSU.

Arkansas is a terrible job. Would be very interesting if they gave Fritz a shot.

Missouri is a less terrible job but still a bit hopeless. Not sure who they are going to be able to entice.

We got Charlie Strong fired--us and 4-15 out of his last 19 games. Talking about bringing Taggart back. Also high on Wake's DC. Chris Petersen resigned from Washington.
