We (the ACC) have officially dethroned the SEC and the B1G.

Swofford is a genius.

Hate, hate, HATE ND. Just slightly behind the mutts. Slightly. If a really bad mutts team played an undefeated Drunken Irish team, I could possibly root for the mutts.

These blatantly-biased-toward-ND announcers tonight are an example why. The media overhype anytime ND just doesn't completely suck is nauseating. HATE them.

If Clemson hung 73 on ND, I would be cheering for them to score more.

ND, cheer for them anytime they are not playing Tech.
I noted in recent hate list post that I hate ND less with passing years. I was in upper east at the late 70s fish game, so that’s coming a long ways. I usually worry about Clem losing helping Uga but that fear has passed.

That TD pass play by Clemson was beautifully designed. Fake jet left, block it that way, roll right and hit a TE set on the left leaking out to the right. X’s and O’s to perfection.

ACC refs trying to screw this game up. At least the bad calls are going both directions

Mind not rite.

C'mon, just admit it, you're secretly an Irish fan. It's obvious.

My nephew wanted to go to Clemson. I convinced him not to. I told him he didn’t want to have to spend the rest of his life apologizing for where he went to a glorified high school.

Uh.... the game was on N(otre Dame) Broadcasting Co., AKA NBC. It was no different than Lindsey Nelson & Paul Hornung doing the Sunday AM re-cast in the '60s & '70s.

What did you expect?

...... from one who played in the 2nd (1969) Fish Game

Honestly, that was a helluva football game last night. This was just what the ACC needed. National stage and it showed it's not just Clemson and a dozen plus other schools.
Going forward, Clemson is still going to be balls. DJ is not much of a, if any, dropoff from Trevor. Dude is legit.
Notre Dame is going to have some holes to fill next year, across the O line and at QB. Hell, Book's been there longer than Tommy Rees. Who's still there.

That, and we took Notre Dame to cover. So there's that.
This was the first time we took the Irish to cover and they actually did it.
Still think Brian Kelly is a tool, though.

I have no problem with ND. They have nearly always been better than us, but they are a pretty historic program
Historic program in the sense that their last National Championship was in 1988. We've won one more recently than them.

I’ve been seeing dudes calling each other “cucks” for various reasons for a few years now (mostly ridiculous). But dudes pulling for ND is some top-shelf cuckery - will we ever hear the end of them coming into the ACC, going unbeaten (including against the best team in the conference) and winning the whole thing, and then leaving?

At one point last night the announcers flat out said that Clemson was their first test because they “hadn’t played anybody good” (i.e., an ACC schedule). I hope somebody (anybody minus 1) can beat them this year so I don’t have to hear about how they came in and bitchslapped the ACC and took their trophy.

Yes, except that ND is not actually in the ACC, so I'm not really sure how much their success rubs off on the ACC. I mean, they used to play a handful of Big Ten teams every year, and no one ever thought they were basically a Big Ten team.
