Grayson Signees/Commit

Don’t meet me there; beat me there.

*No one will probably get this reference.

I didn't see this. Anything/anyone worth noting for the people who didn't catch it?

Haynes with 6 catches 145 yards and a TD and should of had another long one if the QB makes a better throw. Most of the time was matched up with 22’ 5* Hunter and ran away from him on the TD.
Really impressive.
Collins the DE had some nice plays including a Sack and The linebacker Sager had a sack as well although I’m not sold on him.

I think we're gonna love Haynes.

Thanks! I'm interested to hear what gives you reservations about Sager?

honestly the lack of other offers and his lack of experience at LB his projected position.
Honestly he looks more like a TE which he has played this season and from the outside looking in we seen to have backed off somewhat although he may do what Koots did last season and be a late enrollee or something.
The kid has athleticism but just seems really really raw and you can definitely tell he played in New York as the level of football down here is at another level.
I’m not saying he can’t be a good player for us or someone else, I just think it’s gonna take some time and a lot of things could happen between now and signing day number 2

Thanks for sharing. Unless my memory is getting the better of me, Sager is not a guy I have read much about yet, so I appreciate the evaluation. :)

The backstory is apparently he had COVID right at the start of the season and lost a significant amount weight as a result which set him back.

That would make sense with how his recruitment has unfolded.
I believe in 5-10 years when people look back on the 2020 kids that there will be an abnormal amount of kids that fell thru the cracks and become some of the better players in the future.
No camps really hurt a lot of kids.
Just think last season with no camps a kid like Gibbs while we still would of gotten him would have came in as a 3* and really taken everyone by surprise.
I believe that’s how Blackburn and Haynes will be this season.
They are way underrated imo

Yeah Haynes looks like the real deal. He is smooth and fast. I can’t see any reason that he will not shortly be ATL.

Haynes is (one reason) why we shouldn't be too distraught over Brown.

Sagar... I don't think the staff is sold on him either. I believe if he could have, he would have signed in December.

I read Virginia Tech and Liberty are looking at Sagar. He might land at one of those places if he isn't a take in Feb.
