I don't remember which game it was, maybe Pitt; but the TV commentator was calling our plays before the snap. He even made the comment that Tech needs to get better at hiding what they are about to do.

OTOH I can remember CPJ calling the same play over and over again because the defense couldn't figure out how to stop it. Sort of like Richt calling bubble screens all the way down the field.

This works when you have some sort of leverage at point of attack. It worked for CPJ before the NCAA listened to Beamer’s and Cutcliffe’s whining and changed the blocking rules to negatively impact option teams. It worked for Richt’s bubble screens because they were steamrolling our defenders on blocks.

Wasn’t there a game under CPJ where he tried to signal in the calls and the other team figured them out immediately?

So....Ohio State gave all of us the blueprint on how to beat Clemson?
Yes. Play 6 games going undefeated using same signs for each games.......use same signs in cfp changing plays out of same formation....win

It was a brilliant move by Day to not allow Clemson's defense to get into a rhythm. Breaking the huddle, getting set quickly and snapping it. Other times just getting set and drawing down the clock. Several times snapping it when Clemson started to shift defensive alignment keeping them off balance. Great plan by Day.
blueprint?

So not covering a WR long was nothing but Clemson stealing the wrong signs?

I'm still pretty stoked that Clemson got their butt kicked. I thought it would have worn off by now but nope, still happy about it. May even go back and watch it again.
