Holed up and afraid if some comes closer than six feet . . . and with all that we still have almost 400,000 dead in well less than a year, and from what I just saw more than 4000 dead yesterday - way more than 9/11 and we still have never gone back to "normal" since 9/11.

Dying is for the birds.

Wanting something to be a certain way does not necessarily make it feasible.
If you are worried about it, don't go to the game.

This is not difficult. Those that are not afraid will have a lot more fun if the people who are afraid simply stayed in their homes.

in thirty years or sooner we will find out that those numbers were/are greatly exaggerated. maybe on order of 50 to 75%. greatest public policy disaster since Vietnam. no question.

We live in a society and in a society you don't get to personally decide your own rules - and thank God for that. You want to do your own thing, then go move to a desert island. Until then, you need to live by the rules of our society that the folks whom the rest of us elected have decided to put in place. It really is that ööööing simple. Wear your mask and keep your distance.

What "rules" are you talking about?

GT pulled those rules out of their ass. Other AAs had no fans, and thought our 11k was crazy. Thank God we didn't listen to them. VT had like 1k. Idiots didn't even sell the boxes, where you could actually be isolated with walls from other fans.

These aren't some magical "rules of our society", they are artificial. The AA will likely be able to make up whatever rules they want to for 2021.

good god, you really do post just to argue. No matter the topic, you seem to pick a contrarian side, dependent on the tone of the thread, and then postulate the most extreme, hyperbolic opinions/“facts” (as you claim).

Dude, you exhaust everyone with your cries for attention

I really didn't mind having a decent area of the stadium without being crowded in. Kind of nice having just your group together - nobody behind you, nobody next to you, easier parking, easier exit after games. I could do another season of it.

Keep winning 3 games a year and it’ll be like that all the time!

I did like having room to spread out a little, though I was still surrounded by a-holes and visiting fans.

It's easy, don't acknowledge and don't reply.

I enjoyed the games this past year. Beer sales was a nice addition. Had a lot more room to stretch out than normal. Less traffic. Could actually get a table at Cypress Street. Only drawback was the mask Nazis.
I enjoyed not being shoulder to shoulder with people for sure. Being distanced out like we were I think the mask while seated was over kill. I would like to see us start the year socially distanced but no mask required while seated.

Difference between going to a game in Sanford Stadium vs BDS. I have found at Sanford, I was 100% surrounded by a-holes. When I go to BDS, the proprtion changes significantly for the better. Only 75% of the people near me are a-holes. The other 25% are visiting fans.

yes. via email. and via email they sent today i learned we can wait till early may to renew. though u get a discount if you renew by february 18. i will be waiting till may. i want to see what the lay of the land is so to speak with covid protocols. they were vague at best with their email today. basically no guarantees on having your regular seats and if the wind blows in the wrong direction and they need social distancing then they can move you from your regular seats. not good. also no opting out this year. if you want your seats for 2022 you have to renew this year (even if they move your location for 21' based on social distancing).

I will also wait until May. At that time, if they cannot give some reasonable assurances, I will sit out 2021.
