Soccer jerseys have adds because there are no commercial breaks other than halftime. Even with soccer teams the sponsor is not incorporated into the team name.

So you can buy a jersey with their number and Rocket Mortgage on it, but not with their name on it, because then the Rocket Mortgage money and the jersey money would have to go in part to the player wearing the number, instead of being used to build a lazy river to recruit the player wearing the number, who gets paid with free enrollment in leisure studies and fake AFAM classes.
