Young Mr. Thomas was superb today! He had two interceptions and one incredible tackle that should be shown on ESPN'S Sports Center. Charlie is a great player who got an opportunity and shined. I don't know why he wasn't given more playing time last week. The hit he gave to a Kennesaw State player today was vicious! I was able to see it clearly even being way up in the stands. I was setting near several KSU fans and most were nice. However, there was one chump who yelled out to break one of Tech's players legs. I was glad Charlie delivered that powerful tackle after hearing the KSU fan yell, "Break his leg."

Way to go Charlie! Keep it up!

Additionally, I can't imagine what this team would be without McGowan. He's perhaps our best offensive player

Definitely the MVP, on a day when everybody wearing white and gold looked fantastic.

Against the west sideline he caught a ball in the 2nd qtr I think was a screen and made some really impressive close-quarters jukes to get a few yards. Not a big play in the grand scheme but sure showed how quick he is. At least from the LE

I heard a bunch of GT fans yelling to bust the KSU players’ asses on multiple occasions.

But seriously, he did have a great run there. Tackle for loss, int, int in 3 successive plays I believe.

He did play well, as did Mason(Beast blocks all day) Akelo Stone and McGowan. Yates has played consistently well since getting in last week. He doesn't possess the speed and size or arm strength of Sims but he also doesn't make the glaring mistakes.

I agree. McGowan has been the man. Gibbs clearly doesn't like running up the middle. He almost looks flat footed.
Who WOULD like to run into defenders repeatedly? Our interior blocking is basically non-existent
