Went back to the GT hotel and got drunk as hell.
Ahhh... the life of a GT fan.

I guess my biggest problem with this game is that I would never have predicted anything like this from a PJ coached team. We got schooled in every facet of the game.

Congratulations.

Me too--1st time EVER--I've got a weak stomach and throwing up in public is not well received!

That was one bone headed call on the fake punt with 8 yards to go deep in LSU territory and of all things having a DE try and make it for you. Everyone in our section was shocked and disgusted on that call. I replayed it on tv when I got home last night to see what the announcers said, and it was not flattering. That call and the one in the Miami game are really 2 bad miscues PJ. made. Hopefully he learns from these mistakes and we move on.

We left towards the end of the 3rd quarter, but alot of that decision was made because I had foot surgery 8 days prior and was hurting badly and didn't bring even Advil or Tylenol for the pain. Had the Jackets been winning by a small margin, I may have toughed it out and stayed, but I was at the game against doc's orders in the first place! oh, well... Happy New Year Jackets fans!

As I said earlier. I left the cold as hell Dome and headed out into the colder than Dome Atlanta air with hopes to get mugged and killed.

No such luck. Sorry BoR.

I think he was desperate to take away LSU's momentum and get some of our own. It was a questionable call.

You know, your probably right, it was very obvious from the start we were NOT going to be able to stop them on defense, so this probably was what he was thinking. I just wished someone other than a DE ran the ball. In the miami game we got away with it as Rashad Reid intercepted a pass from Miami to save our rears on that call.

I did leave right before the half --wanted to leave after the 'Morgan body right' failed fake punt, but my wife talked me into sticking around a little while longer.

Yeah the fake punt idea wasn't good. I am glad we didn't do something like that against UGAg when we were desperate.

We left when they announced that anyone caught throwing anything onto the field would be taken out...that pretty much ended our fun

left early as well...
we got our butts kicked-
I got drunk, acted like a fool, wife`was not happy

I think that is what has shocked everyone the most. If it had been a CCG team we all would be pissed but expected it. Totally outcoached in preparation and in the game itself.

I left after the 4th down fake punt. I am old enough to remember when sportsmanship was an important aspect of college football. I was totally pissed. Even more so that I was too high to let CLM know how i felt. I would have been embarrassed had we done that. (only exception would have been the Ugag game the year after 51-7)

I had sex in the restroom at halftime...then I left.

Wife was not happy.

I was afraid to get drunk, may have hurt someone, or more likely, got my ass kicked and locked up. Left after 3rd quarter.
But, we need to remember that PJ is on a learning curve playing against this kind of competition, and coaching with someone else's players. We all would take 9-4 at the start of the season, particularly remembering spring practice.
It's like golf; if you shoot an 85, you rememebr the 3' putts you missed for an 81. If you shoot 79, you rember the ball you hit out of bounds or you would have shot 77.
We are never happy at sports and sometimes I don't know why we play these silly games! :laugher:

I stayed until the very end and was totally sober. It wasn't any better.

If we don't blow the onside kick and fumble the punt, we're not in that situation to start with. Our own mistakes killed us last night. Mistakes will do that, but when you're playing what amounts to a top 10/15 team, you get drilled.

LSU's D was stout last night, but we wrote our own ticket in the first half of that game.
