He also played and coached under PJ. Was a starter in 08 before some sort of neck injury ended his career early. Coached for us for a few years while he finished school, then a few years for Bohannon at KSU. Pretty swift rise through the ranks.

Looks like he got hooked in with Vrabel somewhere along the way to launch his career.

Seems our former players have more luck in the NFL than college.

Go ahead and add his name to the list of former Tech coaches and Tech players that so many think the coaching search committee should be limited to choosing from.
 
Bowen was a pretty good LB for us, iirc. For hurt.

Chasing a dream youve been a part of your entire life that also pays really well on top of it all. Who the hell wouldnt want that?

He was a defensive assistant for Urban Meyer at Ohio State when Vrabel was DL coach. Vrabel took him to the Texans and then to Tennessee.
