not again stephen hill

Well we all know that if he visits, his offer is vanquished. The Aycock situation set an important precedent.

Yeah, if the AJC article is to be taken seriously, the only thing keep Hill at GT is the strength of his word and the friends he has made here. It reflects well on him but is bad news for GT football, cause it means we probably won't get him.

Unless he visited today, it doesn't matter I guess. Word to the wise think before posting!

On a more serious note, these 11th hour betrayals of trust are quite dissappointing.

I'm sick of recruiting. If we sign him, great... If not, good luck to you and screw UGAg.

Poor job by Tech recruiting to let these young fellows "change their mind." No follow-up.

You'll never convince me that Giff, or whoever, followed these guys to the bitter end and made their commitment sure.

They should have NEVER penciled them in.

Bad Procedures. B-A-D. Did I say bad? As in ****ty?

Not so sure that is the case b/c GT coaches were calling him & even went to his HS to watch him in a basketball game...Unfortunately, this is the up and down of recruiting. Win some/lose some...I just don't want to lose this one! Anyway, ultimately the ath. just has to go w/ their gut....BUT IT does drive you nuts for this to happen especailly so close to signing day & during a "silent" time...Hope all the commits are calling Hill....But in the end we don't want'em here if they don't want to be here. The coaching staff had to do enough "weeding-out" during the offseason last year to have someone use a scholarship & then decide that the FLATS isn't for them...GO JACKETS and heres to hoping that Hill inks with GT!

Losing Hill at this late date would really hurt since he would be a big part of our offense next year as we move toward the run and shoot. That would leave us with only one incoming receiver in this year's class.

So you are just making stuff up, and then complaining about it.

Sounds about right for the average tech fan.

I would have ZERO problem with pulling his ship as well. I don't want anyone at GT that does not want to get there.

Like O'leary said we will win with you or we will win without you.

Probably the dumbest thing you've ever posted.

when ugag threw the late scholly I had no problem with the kid weighing his options but then HE STATED HE WAS COMMITTED.

now a few days later he is back on the fence. He probably has "changed" his mind about GT.

I am more worried about our OL recruits than WR's

You guys are out of your minds.

Hill is a GT lock.

You said that about Aycock too.

Ive never followed GT recruiting before and I never will again. This stuff is pointless and good coaching will overcome a highly touted team anyday. Look at Utah with zero 4 star and maybe 1 or 2 3 stars on its team vs Alabama and its super squad.

Wake me up when spring practice starts.
