Went out this morning with an old Army buddy to do a 12-mile ruck -- to sweat it out a little bit and show our support for Army football. Light infantry standard was 12 miles in full gear in 3 hours back in our day. We came in just over at 3 hours and 5 minutes, but at 42 we're both happy with it. That over though was a sign for me: I'm breaking the under trend and taking the OVER 31.5! Man, those Army uniforms look sharp today!!!

I remember knocking out that 12-miler at about 2 hours 30 at Air Assault School... in 1999

A lot of changes in 23 years, lol. But this AllTrails app, game changer if you want to keep track of your routes and whatnot.

Very cool. I will have to get it. I plan to start hiking Kennesaw after my foot heals. I miss being outside :(

I take it back, Navy gives up a blocked punt for a TD. Army dang near screwed it up and slung the ball out of the end zone, though.
