I know a couple of my StinGTalk brethren are throwing caution to the wind and venturing into the Land of Zima where there's just no telling what might happen.

So a few questions that everyone coming (probably not the best choice of words for a trip to CavLand):

1. Is there a preferred location for parking and setting up shop for tailgating?
2. Is it possible to buy tickets outside stadiums anymore? Or do I have to go thru Stubhub and Ticketmaster (I'd rather be stuck in an elevator with Cav Man)
3. Pretty sure there was one more thing but it escapes me at the moment.

Section 113 (lower corner endzone) and 516-524 (upper deck across back of end zone) are shown as visitor's seating. Nothing on Tech's resale partner SeatGeek or Stubhub in those sections. Wonder if GTAA is holding them...
 
I ended up with 2 seats halfway up sec 107.

I'm fine sitting among the enemy. It's gonna be more their problem then mine. I've sat in the middle of the NY Giants section in the Meadowlands in full Philadelphia Eagles garb.

I would not focus on sitting in a visitor section-get the best seats you can. 50-yard line seats are on both SeatGeek and StubHub for under $50.
 
Here is a little reminder of what we can expect this weekend. I was there for this game - literally monsooned the entire first half - I was soaked to the bone. But it was worth it to see this play that sent a *gasp* throughout the entire stadium.

 
I'll be looking for you guys on CW at 2 PM. Say hello to CavMan if you see him and drink one for me :)
 
Fontaine Research Park is a good place to park. Free, pretty easy in and out, pleasant stroll on a wooded trail to get to the stadium.

I’ll be there, like usual. Tix are in 113, and it’s seldom crowded in there.

18 years ago, 6 of us from NYC rented an RV and drove down to Cav Land, the land of no tailgating, to see our Jackets play. We were kicked out of Walmart parking lots, kicked out of shithole restaurants lots, until we found peace and quiet in a Home Depot lot. And when we arrived too early at the UVA tailgating lot, behold, we were turned away from there, too.

We met up with other Jackets, some of whom grilled chicken livers with bbq sauce and had real southern screennames on ST, and even the HIVe.

And we had a rule that no one would shit in the RV toilet.

But alas one of us did. And he shit and he shit.

And he shit.

And then after a bad loss, we drove hungover (drunk?) all the way back to NYC, but we had to empty the RV before turning it in so we pulled over to a rest stop that allowed such emptyings. And the guy who shit and shit and shit, refused to empty the shit tank.

And thus, THWUGA said he would empty the tank so we could all get home. And lo, THWUGA unscrewed the shittank cap, and the shit sprayed in all 360 degrees of the spout before the hose could be connected.

And this is the story of why THWUGA will never go to CavLand again.

Dwyer and Nesbitt were grown men among boys. It's been awhile since I looked at a player and thought that. We'd line up on 4th and 1, I wouldn't even worry that we might not convert, may as well been a free 1st down.
 
Is there a recommended area to park and tailgate or is it every man for himself?
