Rivals reporting it has come down to GT and MIA. She is reporting we could know is less than 24 hours.

Come on over to the good side!

Many seem to think he is Miami bound

If he knows what's best for him he'll bite on the Tech offer

I believe rivals posted that yesterday, meaning a decision could come today. I also heard he was to inform the coaches last (friday) night. I have no inside info, but some also believe he is GT-bound.

If I was a GT coach I would just show him how great that MIA defense will make him by showing him a replay of GT vs. MIA last year. That would probably make any LB make up his mind.

I really hope he comes to GT. MIA would be a mistake.

Great Damarius says one thing and carober say the opposite.....boy you two aren't helping me out any...I like carober's thinking though..

I think they should rolll the game film of GT vs. Miami and show him the sidelines of each teams reaction once the game clock has expired. Then CPJ can put it in real simple terms "You can either play w/ the Triple option or you can die, alongside your Miami teammates, as you try'in stop it!" Then promptly reintroduce him to Dwyer, Jones, Cox, Allen, Wright, Peebles & say you'll either love em or learn to hate/fear 'em!" In other words Tyrone just choose the best option THE TRIPLE OPTION....simple really! :)

Damarius, I want to say that two of your last three posts--whether completely made up, based on inside info, or somewhere in between--are at least substantive.

Meh, nevermind. He ain't committing anytime soon as it appears. Rivals now posting his parents wanted him to rethink and revisit and he is doing so....

dammit! This is the second recruit parents are telling to reconsider when I was pretty sure they were about to give GT the nod.

Since we only have about 5 openings left it wouldn't be that big a deal if he went somewhere else or especially if he took awhile and ended up with us anyway but it would be nice to get him now.

There are going to be guys who blossom in their senior year that we might want to pick up here and there.

we have four spots open as of now

One is being saved for ryan white
Anthony William has a offer
Shawn Green has a offer
Tyrone has a offer
Mike Thornton has a offer
Jake Skokle has a offer
Synjin Days says he has a offer

I just hope Williams doesn't lose his spot.

Dunno, I just can't imagine someone's momma prompting them to go to UM unless that is the local choice. What kind of mother wants her son to be more 'gangsta'?

We all know the penalty for commiting to Tech and then looking around later. The offer is lifted. Best he look around now rather than later. And if someone grabs his spot, and that is a possibility, it is probably less of a risk than commiting and then looking.

Maybe he was leaning towards Miami and she wanted him to rethink it to get a better education as well?

for all we know, williams and cornileus wanted to commit and still look around, but PJ and staff told them their position on that philosophy and the players decided that they wanted to wait. Although that is just speculation, I would have no problem with that scenario. both are coveted high school players, but in the long run I believe that the Aycock-approach (if you can call it that) is a good thing for GT. Like I said, I have no idea if this happened, but if this did happen, I think I would support that philosophy.
