Worst Coach Rankings

Fixed some bugs. Let me know if you see anything weird besides the fact that PJ is not at the very bottom!

No...not saying they are yours, not attackin' ya. I just think that Bobby B is (well maybe is/was) a great coach and has "0" business being in the top 10. For Christ sake...June Jones is in higher regard according to this.

I'm not sure how the computer is figuring...I guess I don't get it, but it is 1 am

I hate computers having anything to due with sports, sports rankings, etc.

They should stick with EA Sports and Madden, NCAA, etc

The rankings are a measure of how a coach is CURRENTLY doing, not how good their career has been.

Kyle, you should reconsider this line of work. Your model puts Ron Zook at 41. Urban Meyer at 43. Now, are you aware of what the two did at UF?

According to your model, Bill Stewart, at WFVU is a better coach than Urban Meyer. Yet Stewart's predecessor, who had better success at WFVU is considered the worst coach.

Time to hang up this model and go back to the drawing board.

The model still ranks Meyer above Zook. The model is sound. It just needs a few additions...

Rich Rodriguez took a Michigan team that had been going to bowls for 30 straight years and promptly went 3-9. That is why he is rated as "worst coach." Mathematically it works out. Previous coaching experience is not considered.

Besides a few anomalies, I think it's pretty accurate.

This is some really stupid ****. Glad I was drinking while I read it.

J-- J-- Joe Paterno at #12?

I think you have a stray minus 1 messin' up yer code somewheres.

Kyle...dude this is complete an utter BS.

Did you create this garbage??? If so, you should never be allowed to post again

Ron Zook and Urban Meyer shouldn't be on the same page

This is nowhere near "Sound" as you call it

Control Alt Delete and then throw your computer out of the window

I'm pretty sure that Joe Pa has a couple of NC's on his watch at Penn State. Plus, Bowden has 2 NC's at FSU, not one. Other than that... well, I'm not sold on this analysis.

I briefly looked at it, and it seems as though this thing is based solely on last year. Also, it does not give any credit (whether there should or not) with getting good players in the program. Seems like some math professor, etc. had a little too much time on his hands and too little amount of competence.
