Miami's Offense Can't Be Stopped

I sure as hell would like to know who told them all of this. I mean my god. They put up just over as many points as Pat Nix.

Gotta love their confidence, but it is for the most part it is unfounded. They played a FSU team that was exposed by a Div. II team.

OK, so this is the second player this week that has said "Miami's offense cannot be stopped" (Jacory Harris) or "the offense can score at will"(Phillips).

I don't know if I have actually heard these types of comments come out of a team coming off a very average season, with brand new coordinators, and only played one game.

I hate "Da U" right now. If they think they can talk about swagger without proving it with their play first I would venture to guess the higher they are the harder the fall. It may not be us, but someone is going to put them on their butts for comments like these, it almost always happens in sports.

I was sort of happy they won so we could crush them when they get ranked and be regarded by the media as DA U being back, but this is getting annoying now. I really hope CPJ hangs more than half a hundred to shut these guys up.

I'm telling ya. I am really kinda taken aback by these comments. It on the point of ridiculous.

I mean when GT put up 420 plus on MIA and UGA last year and several other games, the players weren't going around saying the offense can't be stopped. They said when it clicks its tough, but they never blatantly said "it cannot be stopped". And they had actually proved something....

AHAHHHHHH!!!!!!! Da U is driving me nuts!

At work today I had a "U" fan call his son to get him to talk trash to me "since he didnt know anything about college football" his words.

Is it just me or are they even more cockier this year than last year? Damn I hope we wipe that out of there system on thursday. CPJ lets run the score up on these Aholes.

I'd like to see us run one up...that'll require us to finish someone off and not have the slightest let-up.

It's a win win....I'm game

F$%^ Miami.

I love it!. lUMp players have had too much time off. They have been busy reading the press clippings and the blogs about how good they are and how the 'swagga' is back. They have played only one game this year, beat a big rival, and they have already placed themselves in the ACC championship. Sounds eerily familiar to what the good guys went through just before LSU.

I get the feeling CPJ is going to have the boys ready, and when da U gives us their best shot we wont blink. I get the feeling the boys woop some ass and embarrass the punks at da U...Why not... we handed their ass to them last year when we relatively clueless with the TO. CPJ is one hellava field general and I believe we will stand strong with whatever shot the punks throw...except the Uzis....gotta duck and cover when da posse whips those out.

BTW did I see a UM LB wearing one of those tracking devices on his ankle....

I would rather them come in confident that they're going to win. They were confident last year, remember? They'd won 4 in a row, could seal a trip to the ACCCG with a win, and had all "seen our offense in high school" so they supposedly knew how to stop it. This is just a different set of reasons for them to take the game less seriously and assume that just because they've got Miami jerseys on they're going to win. This plays in our favor.

Not even UGA players talk like this to the media. Is anyone else perturbed by this?

He77 no. Let them run their mouths. All they have been doing the last week and-a-half is talk about how great they are --it will be a hard fall for the U.

I just hope they can re-gain a little swagger after their game with GT --so they can give VT a game.

Miami will not score at will on GT. That being said, I hope our D does a better job preventing the big play --we gave up too many long passes against Clemson.

I really want GT to shut these guys up on Thursday!! I would love to see M Burnett with 2-3 picks and take one to the house. Follow that up with a crushing blow by Dwyer to remind the boys at "Da U"rinal that if they get in his way he will steamroll them! Oh yeah - almost forgot that I would love to see Morgan all over Harris the entire game!

Please GT... Don't let it be close. These guys need a reality check.

Well, actually we did. Just prior to the Peach Bowl.

is that because... It's on a boat, mf?

And here I thought that Harris had grown up some and was starting to show real leadership. Telling an opposing defense that you cannot be stopped isn't really smart, especially when you've played a single game with a new OC. I thought Shannon was trying to stop this sort of head-up-the-ass mentality that Miami players exhibit.

Funny isn't it. Miami hasn't been good since any of the current players were in elementary school. Yet, they win one game and they all start acting just like the Miami of the 80s and 90s.

Where did the current players learn to act like the U of old?

Oh, wait - I remember reading where Jacory said he got a lot of calls from former Miami players after they beat F$U.

Another case solv-ed.

Isn't this like year number 6 that the Miami players have been trying to bring back the U?

Besides, the U has hated us ever since we single handedly lead to their demise by dominating the in OB when they were like #3 in the country.

Yeah something like that (might of been Bobby Dodd but I don't remember straight). That knowledge holds a special place in my heart.

I don't think the FSU/JSU game indicates anything other than a huge hangover for FSU from that Labor Day game. I take no solace from it, although I'd love for it to be true. It worries me though, because Clemson could easily win the Atlantic with the team that Dabo is mis-coaching and I don't think I'd like to play them again in the ACCCG.
