Call it like i see it

For the record, our hands were on our hips in the first quarter. Just saying.

true dat..... lalalalala dont wanna hear 3 games in 12 days had 6 days for thsi one

Good to see you, Nate.

Yeah, we have issues on the line. All summer I think most of us were worried but the gasping for air midway through the 2nd quarter is baffling.

We may look back and realize that Miami is the real deal and Clemson might also be legit.

I think we may have already played two of our three toughest games. We have ten days to get our legs back. Fortunately, UNC is at home.

Its the lack of depth on our DL that is hurting us. If we are going to depend on Morgan to get pass rush on every play, its not going to work. We need to have some fresh legs on the field to put some pressure. We sucked all night.

I don't know if their OL was so much better or we just flat out sucked.

D Morgan has more talent than any dlineman that has been at this school since Marco Coleman. So I would agree with what you said. The other thing is, Miami's play calling seemed to favor trying to run our guys all over the field. Seriously. They'd go deep, thin in the flats, then over the middle, then to the wide side of the field, then call a reverse. That OC knew exactly what he was doing, he was trying to tire our defense out early. Great gameplan on his part.

Really???? Then why does he keep dropping passes that are in his hands? He has size but makes high school mistakes.

He dropped one. He made a nice catch on the TD. He's also a very good blocker. The NFL loves big WR's that can also block.

I pretty much played the entire game as did Jesse Tarplin...

Nate, not trying to start some **** here, but your defense had a lot of balls bounce their way. We were porous as hell those years and if it wasn;t for the fact that our offense was high octane and the ball bounced are way a lot on fumbles, 1998 would have looked more like an 8-4 season.

Morgan is a better player than anyone on the entire 1998 defense. So is Burnett for that matter. We had a helluva DC back then as I'm sure you would agree. Wish he was still a DC for GT because Wommack is average at best.

Hmmm. Pretty certain that our defense looks a whole lot better resting on the sideline while the offense runs the rock for 5+ mins.

I'll take that defense any day.
