If you want to feel better about us....

I don't know what it is, but I have this feeling that UT has this "Us vs. The World" mentality (and all the experts picking against them) and they are gonna show up to play. They have a stout defense, so if they keep it close, get a little Special Teams plays, and some turnovers (80% chance of a downpour tomorrow in Gainesville), they might shock the world.
* Sidenote: UT is my 2nd favorite team next to GT.

I go to Tennessee and we are going to get slaughtered and it will look much worse than GT@MIA...
I'm scared.

It doesn't matter if we show up and play if Crompton LoL's the whole time in the backfield and sets up UF with great field position every time. I think if anyone Monte Kiffin can slow down UF, but we have NO offense so it doesn't matter. We may have Auburns RB coach who had all those great RBs, but if they know we are running every play it doesn't help. And even USCe's quarterback coach who worked under Spurrier can't fix Crompton. Tomorrow is hopeless.

From one of my football excursions a few years ago. BTW, Bobby Dodd was listed in their program.

I gave 48 the other day. Not a UF lover here, but follow them b/c wife grew up here and she is a huge Gator fan!

She now is a big GT fan.

Besides I tend to get a bit luckier when the Gators put up a W.:fingersx:

All my family who lives in Knoxville say they call him "Crapton." First it was the Clausen brothers, Ainge was okay, and now him.

Hands down, best college marching band.

Absolutely true. The march in and the pregame show is awesome, and I normally am not a "band" type person - at least as far as watching the pregame. Excellent show up till the splitting of the "T" - which is incredible.

I sure hope you are right.

Until Lane came along I was a BIG UT fan, but his mouth does nothing for me personally.

Just watched weather report and they are saying slight chance of rain.

The thing that scares me for UF is Monte Kiffin. IMO, one of the best to ever coach on that side of the ball.

Agreed, but like i said, it doesn't matter cause Crompton will be UF's MVP tomorrow.

Florida has been circled on TN's calendar ever since Kiffin ran his mouth...

I hate both these teams, but Florida will win convincingly.

You could be right! But hell you never know, it may be one of those days like what UF had last year against Ole Miss. I dont think so, but it could happen.

I don't really know who I want to win. I want both to kick UGAg's ass, so yeah. Florida will though anyway, so maybe if UT beats them, they may have a chance to beat UGAg.

One foggy night, a Tennessee fan and a Florida fan were driving the opposite directions on a road near Knoxville. While crossing a narrow bridge, they hit each other head-on, mangling both cars.
The Florida fan manages to climb out of his car and survey the damage. He looks at his twisted car and says, "Man, I'm lucky to be alive!"
Likewise, the Volunteer fan gets out of his car uninjured, he too feeling fortunate to have survived.
The Florida fan walks over to the Volunteer fan and says, "Hey, man, I think this is a sign that we should put away our petty differences and live as friends instead of being rivals."
The Volunteer fan thinks for a moment and says, "You know, you're absolutely right! We should be friends. In fact, I'm going to see if something else survived the wreck."
The Volunteer fan then pops open his trunk and removes a full, undamaged bottle of Jack Daniel's. He says to the Gator fan, "I think this is another sign - we should toast to our newfound friendship." The Gator fan agrees and grabs the bottle. After sucking down half of the bottle, the Gator fan hands it back to the Volunteer fan and says, "Your turn!"
The Volunteer fan calmly twists the cap back on the bottle, throws the rest of the bottle over the bridge into the river and says, "Nah, I think I'll just wait for the cops to show up."
