Bowden losing it...pregame speech

That's actually painful to watch. I feel sorry for the man. He's doing what he loves and knows nothing else... this is going to get ugly no matter how you look at it. The interview on Rivals where he's asking the interviewer questions about our team because he can't remember anything is very telling. Its time for Bobby to hang it up, but he just doesn't see it.

That would be great footage to use for a commercial for Under Armour's new line of clothing for extra-sensitive bookish girls.

I think that is from last years BC game because Bobby B is talking about them coming to our house but i agree he needs to retire to save face. And its sad he has to use notes!!!

Those aren't notes on the speech that Bobby Bowden is looking at. It's a doodled picture of a cowboy shooting a space man, and the cowboy has a dialogue bubble that says "dad-gum!" He looks at it because he drew it during the last coaches' meeting and it calms his nerves. Plus, his name is on it, which could come in handy for reference purposes.

I love how Chuckles the Clown is standing in the background twiddling his thumbs. Looks like he's trying his best to keep from busting out in laughter.

very sad....I feel for him. He has really aged the past two years. I wonder if his sons have given him any good advice.

I do not see why he does it at this point. I expect to be retired well before the time that I reach his age.

It sounds like a first time head coach struggling with the pregame speech. He's been making locker room speeches for about a hundred years and he needs notes to make that crappy speech?

I wonder if his sons have given him any good advice.

Wow. That was like having one of your grandparents babbling non-sense at you when you were 8 years old and you couldn't wait for them to stop talking so you could leave. Sad to watch.

Holy f*ck someone needs to put a bullet in both of their brains.

Best part of that line was the intro...

"They wanna you know......(lost train of thought).......you gotta fight."

I think thats the point where Papa Bowden sh*t in his drawers. That would make anyone lose their train of thought.
