Ball
He's a hell of a player and he's going to be the man for the next four years. He did a little of everything today and he set the tone with the 54 yard pass to Curry to start the first Tech offensive drive. Reggie also showed great poise and hustle running the ball, escaping the sack and finding the open man, and also jumping into the fray to recover two fumbles. Also, great passes to Logan and Darius Williams. Reggie's only a freshman by class hours. He's just that good.
Linebackers
This was as good a showing by Fox and Daryl Smith as I've ever seen. Fox was everywhere with 15 combined tackles, two for a loss, and a sack. The Superman sack Smith made on Campbell in the third quarter was awesome. Brown had a good showing as well with two tackles for a loss and a sack. We've got a stud linebacker corps.
Defensive Ends
We've got a pair of great bookends to the defensive line. Henderson just kept on rolling after last week. Two sacks on Campbell and too much for the Auburn line to contain. The sack on Campbell on the second Auburn drive of the fourth quarter for a loss of 13 was clutch. From the GT 12 back to the 25, now that's how you push Auburn out of the red zone. Wilkinson continues to impress me as well. He was always in the mix and caused havoc for Campbell.
Davis
That interception and 52 yard return at the end was icing on the cake. I was hoping that he would take it all the way. He also nearly got another pick earlier in the quarter. I think he's going to become a great corner for the Yellow Jackets.
Coaching
I have to hand it to Gailey because the offense looked leaps and bounds better than last week. The playcalling was by no means conservative tonight. Ball was able to air it out and Chan was more confident in taking a few risks because of how well Reggie was playing. The punt fake for the first down by Reis was a beauty. I don't know about the fourth and one call in the third quarter on our 41, but that was definitely a gutsy call even if it resuled in a turnover on downs. However, our defense made sure that it didn't cost us. Daryl Smith got his Superman sack to end the ensuing Auburn possession.
Tenuta put together an excellent defensive game plan. We stuffed the run and forced Auburn to pass. They only got 43 yards on the ground and spent a lot of the time eating turf in the backfield. There was no debate about the defense giving up yardage this week. There were no yards to be given! Last weeks offenders, the secondary, stepped it up and largely shut down Auburn's receiving corps.

I thought the rushing game, although spotty, had its moments and was much better than last week. Eziemefe could have taken it to the house if he didn't trip over himself after shaking the Auburn defenders. Woods had a decent showing with a couple of good carries.
Auburn really shot themselves in the foot with penalties all throughout the game. We had a few too, but a couple of them were unsportsmanlike conduct for celebration which I thought were stupid calls. Overall, we played with more discipline and poise. We still fumbled the ball too much, but thankfully it didn't cost us and some quick reflexes allowed us to recover most of them. The offense was a lot more creative and diverse today and the defense was on the money.
Overall, a great win over a grossly overrated team, but make no mistake that Georgia Tech looked damn good today. Our guys competed hard and came ready to play. I've got a lot of confidence in our players on both sides of the ball and the coaching staff really did a great job with the playcalling.
