The USC football program will receive two-year postseason ban, a reduction in scholarships and a forfeiture of wins from at least the 2004 season when the NCAA releases it sanctions on Thursday, a source told ESPN's Shelley Smith.ESPN the Magazine's Bruce Feldman confirmed the two-year postseason ban and a reduction in scholarships from a second USC source.

The BCS has the ability to vacate their national championship. However, the speculation is that they won't award a new BCS championship to anyone that year. I could swear I read that the AP has already said it won't hold a new vote, regardless of the sanctions on USC. That might change, however, when the report is actually delivered.

The kids that will endure this ban are already on campus or arriving shortly

If a kid signs next February and redshirts, he doesn't have to worry about the ban

Reducing the scholarships can be a killer though
