Being done because the players requested it, so those of you who like to bitch can just stop reading now.

The wuffies have apparently NOT agreed to let us wear white at home that day, interestingly enough.

My only comment is that it seems like this would make more sense to do for a game that has a higher chance of being a night game...although given our schedule that probably wasn't an easy task.

**** North Carolina State. White Out, Gold Out, whatever, we're going to blow that bunch of pussies out.

NCState? Really? Why not ThugU?

I guess the players are pissed that the Wolfpack aren't letting us wear our home whites so they want the fans to wear it while they beat the puppy patrol to within an inch of their meaningless lives.

Maybe they're still bitter about a Georgia Tech team coached by Chan Gailey and quarterbacked by A.J. Suggs ruining the only decent season they'll ever have.

Please God bring back the throwbacks!

I don't see it happening any time soon. What's weird though is that I was under the impression back when we debuted those against Virginia that we were going to have a single game every year where we wore some type of throwback uniform. Never worked out, I guess.

What is our non-white uniform? I only saw our two whites.

O'Brien, he's a dead man! Wilson, dead!

I'm assuming there are panicked phone calls throughout the GTAA today ranging from Russell Athletics to the paint department at Home Depot.

I don't understand why teams would make things tougher on themselves. They're already having to play on the road, which is tough enough. Plus, GT is one of the better teams they'll play all year. I guess they didn't learn from Wake's mistake last year. Why create a rift when it's not necessary?

:laugher: Wake's mistake where they almost upset a top 10 team? Do you think being pissed about our uniform color is what's going to put our team over the top?

It worked for us in 2002 against Wake F-.. er.. in the Peach B-.. er..

I say we just say "FU" to NCState and the ACC, and walk out in our white unis (the home ones).
What would be the ramifications of that (other than an obvious slap in the face of this new 'Gold Standard' thing)? A penalty? A fine? A forfeit? There were games last year (I think in the PAC 10) where both teams wore their colored jersey. What if both teams wore white?

There was one game, it was USC vs UCLA. I believe one of the teams had to give up a timeout to do it? So maybe that's the only ramifications? White vs White would be dumb though. The P10 game was at least Red vs Blue.
