It was on their scout bored but its been zapped. Guy there said he was a member on Rivals and some guy who runs the ND site said Tuitt wasn't returning phone calls from ND and was visiting AU this weekend. All ND fans were saying he's Auburn bound. No mention of GT.

Wonder how much they are paying him or Mr. Tuitt?

Honestly, I know we joke around about it, and the whole nation always jokes about Auburn paying recruits, but this could really be another example. He has been verbal to Notre Dame for a while now. I would not put it past Auburn for them to be paying Tuitt.

It probably also helps that Auburn is about to play for a national title, while Notre Dame's coach is bearing the blame for a young man's death at practice, albeit not a player.

Oh man I forgot about that incident where the kid got killed. I hate how brian kelley went to notre dame. That is such a bad place to coach. I also hate how Auburn is probably going to get tuitt because of a pricey check. But whatever. Im just glad Georgia Tech is for what I know honest and playing by the rules

It's one thing to joke about Auburn and cash, a whole another thing to get mad at Tuitt and accuse him of this. Cam Newton was a scumbag of a character even before going to Auburn, don't accuse every single recruit that goes to Auburn with the same thing.

Auburn is going to crash and burn when they get their own version of the death penalty. **** them. Just have patience. It will come.

I hope we snag some recruits when they want to transfer out.

If Auburn gets caught is some sort of pay for play scandal and gets major sanctions, no team is going to take a chance on any of their players.

I can think of a couple of guys we were going after that committed to Auburn. I don't see why we can't catch a few when they realize Auburn is ****ed over and want to transfer out.

I guess the question becomes, Why did they choose Auburn?

It will certainly be on a case by case basis but if it is discovered that Auburn was paying a player or multiple players will anyone ever be certain that any individual player wasn't getting paid or had gotten paid.

I personally would not want to take the risk of taking a player from Auburn then a year later finding out that player had gotten payments from a booster while at Auburn. Hate it for the kids that are clean but this is a case where in my opinion one bad apple ruins the bunch.

I doubt Auburn paid all of their players. Some may genuinely just like the place, and I think that is a respectable reason to go there.

When you lie with dogs, you get fleas.

If he decides to go to a school that is/was? being investigated by the NCAA for possible major infractions, then he opened himself up to speculation.

These two quotes seem to contradict each other.:dunno:

I'm sure if Auburn gets tagged and players want to transfer the NCAA will know which players are eligible to transfer and which ones have lost amateur status. If Dyer is available and considers GT I would bet we welcome him with open arms.

I don't agree Tuitt should be exempt from comments regarding pay for play. I'm 99% sure he has heard speculation regarding Auburn's situation and for him to still consider going there opens the door for people to make comments.

Hell, if I applied to go to work at BP this past summer I'm sure people would have made comments about me.
